Hyundai are a truly global brand, selling over 4.6 million vehicles in 2009, being voted the Automotive Manufacturer of the year and UK Motor Trade Franchise of the year they are positioned firmly as the world’s fastest growing car company. The company has design centres in Europe, Asia and America and are planning a future vision of leading environmental management within the automotive sector. After a difficult period with their previous AV supplier, ITSL Group were engaged to resolve the existing issues with a number of the internal meeting rooms and company boardroom, this included the Crestron programming, Lifesize Video Conferencing, lighting control and projection. Following detailed discussions and evaluation of the existing solution ITSL were required to redesign and upgrade the system to enable the meeting space fit for purpose. Located in the north facing end of the building, the boardroom suffered from a lack of natural light, the existing lighting layout was not suited to the requirements of Video Conferencing.

ITSL Group designed a new lighting layout utilising 600x600 recessed reflectors and raised the light level by 700 lux.

We looked at the control interface and the projection solution, the lighting system was integrated into the Crestron touch panel with the layouts being redesigned to accommodate and the existing code rationalised and redesigned in line with popular ITSL touch panel design. Once the lighting had been addressed and the projection device was upgraded to a model with suitable performance to combat the new higher light levels we had created. The model chosen was a Sanyo XM-150 model, this is an base level installation projector providing lens shift, optical zoom and 6000 lumens to enable a bright and high quality image.
